Enrollment and registration is open to all individuals who meet the minimum requirements for application on a first-come basis. In order to enroll and register, you must meet one or more of the following categories:

• Licensed Professional
• Certified Professional (Massage, Bioenergetics, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Gestalt, Etc.)
• Recent College Graduate
• Current Graduate Student in a graduate degree program with an overall GPA of 2.00 or higher
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an overall GPA of 2.00 or higher
• Prior Training in Clinical Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis
• Life Experience:
  Many of our students are and have been outside of the Behavioral Sciences, including actors, life coaches, nurses, dentists, doctors, EMTs, Police, Firefighters, educators, businesswomen, businessmen, graduate students, undergraduate students and homemakers.

The HHI Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification courses are designed for individuals who have had no experience with hypnotherapy as well as for those who have been previously trained in another system of hypnosis. HHI follows and teaches the ethical principles of hypnotherapy as outlined by the Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification Council of America (CHCC) and the American Psychological Association. Our Institute is an institute of higher learning with homeworks, examinations and assignments throughout the training. All coursework is taught in english. A high school diploma or GED is required for admission.

Registration requires the following steps be completed in order to enroll in a course or program with HHI:

1. Register for one or more courses or programs either on-line, via mail or in person.
2. Pay the required course deposit or balance based on the number of courses and/or programs you are registering for.
3. Sign and return a copy of the HHI Enrollment Agreement prior to beginning your course(s) and/or program(s). (One will be mailed to you with confirmation of your registration.)
4. Submit official transcripts from all accredited educational institutions (vocational schools, junior colleges, colleges and/or universities) you have attended and earned credits with. (This is only required for those enrolling in a 200 or 300 level Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification Program.)
5. For those individuals who are seeking advanced training, submit a copy of your current hypnotherapy certification or transcripts from your hypnotherapy training school.

Students currently enrolled in an accredited vocational school, junior college, college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree must currently have a 2.00 grade point average or better.

Undergraduate students and non-students without prior hypnotherapy training are required to make an appointment for an entrance interview with one of the HHI faculty members by calling 415.493.5721 or 1.866.735.4118 (Toll Free). Applicants to Healthy Hypnotherapy Institute may be asked to attend an initial personal interview, which determines the probability of the individual's success in their chosen program. Phone interviews are provided to those who are enrolling from outside the San Francisco Bay Area.

Your enrollment in a course is based on the receipt of funds for both the deposit and balance due. In the process of enrolling in your requested course(s), HHI will notify you if there are insufficient funds. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours of our notification, your requested space in the course(s) will be released. Please wait for confirmation of your enrollment before making travel plans or buying your books. All course enrollments are subject to availability.

All applicants to Healthy Hypnotherapy Institute must be high school graduates, possess General Education Development (GED) certifications, or be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and demonstrate the ability to benefit from the education. Demonstration of this ability can include a minimum grade of 2.0 “C” level work on Institute level instruction.

Any applicants who do not come from a background where English is the primary language must present evidence of fluency in the language in the form of a TOEFL score of 500 on the paper-based test and 97 on the computer-based test.

All applicants for a certification program must complete an application for admission. Students who are not currently enrolled in an accredited graduate institution and are seeking admission to Healthy Hypnotherapy Institute may be required to take the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Examination, to be in compliance with Maxine Waters Act requirements. This does not apply to online, day or single weekend courses.

Safe and Secure On-line Processing of all credit cards through a corporate PayPal processing account (a PayPal account is not needed by the card holder). Recommended Course Sequence for Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification Program

Course Sequence (200 Hour Certified Hypnotherapist Tract)

1. Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar: An Introduction to Clinical Hypnotherapy
   (14 Hours)
   (Required as the first course; Students enrolling into the Clinical Hypnotherapy Program must take both days: Saturday and Sunday. This course is also approved for CE Credits for MFTs and LCSWs.)
2. Clinical Hypnotherapy Approaches & Application (80 Hours - 4 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
3. Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (60 Hours - 3 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
4. Medical Hypnotherapy (60 Hours - 3 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
5. Register for the Oral and Written Certification Examination Weekend.

Advanced Seminars (Advanced Training for the 300 Hour Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist Tract)

1. Choose from any of the advanced course to attain an additional 100 hours of classroom training towards the Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCH) Certification.
2. Choose from any of our advanced workshops and seminars for specialization in a particular area of hypnotherapy training. These hours can also count towards fulfillment of your additional 100 ACHE hours.
