Students and Professionals seeking 200 or 300 hour Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification are required to take the full weekend (Two Day) training.

This Continuing Education Seminar in Clinical Hypnotherapy offers an understanding of the Clinical Hypnotherapy approach, the history of hypnosis, the language of hypnosis, and the application of hypnosis to psychotherapy. An introduction to Ericksonian Hypnosis and the use of Clinical Hypnotherapy in medical situations is the primary focus of the second day of training. The two days of training cover several hypnotic inductions, provides instruction on how to monitor trance states, and how to prepare for and utilize hypnosis for managing pain.

This seminar is geared for those who are either currently certified as a Hypnotherapist or for the individual who has limited or no exposure to Clinical Hypnotherapy. Several hypnotic inductions will be demonstrated with didactic instruction, including how to monitor a trance state and how to incorporate hypnotherapeutic interventions within the psychotherapy framework. No text books are required for this seminar and all Clinical Hypnotherapy protocols will be provided the first day of the training.

Continuing Education Units (CEs) : One day (Saturday) of the seminar may be taken for 7 continuing education units or both days (Saturday and Sunday) may be taken for 14 continuing education units for Marriage Family Therapists (MFT) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW). Participants must attend Day One in order to attend Day Two.

Eligibility: This course has no prerequisites as all levels of experience are welcome to attend, including those individuals with no experience or knowledge in the field of Clinical Hypnosis. Individuals seeking entrance into either the 200 or 300 hour Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification Program are required to complete the full two day weekend training as this course is a prerequisite to the Certification Program.

CE Accreditation: This institution has been awarded approval by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California to offer continuing education (CE) units to licensed Marriage Family Therapists (MFT) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW) towards fulfillment of their 36 biennial CE hours. No prior knowledge or training in Clinical Hypnotherapy or Hypnosis is required.

Location: Healthy Hypnotherapy Institute; 116 Washington Ave., Suite A, Point Richmond, CA 94801. If registration numbers require a larger capacity venue, the location will be changed to a local Bay Area Hotel (typically in Berkeley, Emeryville, San Francisco or San Rafael). Advanced notice will be given via telephone, e-mail and postal mail prior to the workshop in the event the venue is changed.

The Clinical Hypnotherapy Certification Program consists of the following courses:

Course Sequence (200 Hour Certified Hypnotherapist Tract)

1. Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar: An Introduction to Clinical Hypnotherapy
   (14 Hours)
   (Required as the first course; Students enrolling into the Clinical Hypnotherapy Program must take both days: Saturday and Sunday. This course is also approved for CE Credits for MFTs and LCSWs.)
2. Clinical Hypnotherapy Approaches & Application (80 Hours - 4 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
3. Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (60 Hours - 3 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
4. Medical Hypnotherapy (60 Hours - 3 weekends)
   (Can be taken in any order once the Clinical Hypnotherapy Seminar has been completed)
5. Register for the Oral and Written Certification Examination Weekend.

Advanced Seminars (Advanced Training for the 300 Hour Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist Tract)

1. Choose from any of the advanced course to attain an additional 100 hours of classroom training towards the Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCH) Certification.
2. Choose from any of our advanced workshops and seminars for specialization in a particular area of hypnotherapy training. These hours can also count towards fulfillment of your additional 100 CHCC hours.
